PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®) in Clay Center, KS is hiring a Transportation Assistant/Activities - Certified Nursing Assistant. The role transports residents to appointments and events, ensuring safety and timeliness, and acts as backup for the life enrichment coordinator.

Starting at $16.00 per hour with Premium Pay, this position supports a faith-based, not-for-profit organization focused on resident quality of life and person-centered care.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent desired.
• Valid driver’s license according to state laws.
• Must possess and maintain a superior accident free record in performance of work duties and personal driving.
• CPR certified or willingness to obtain.
• Certified Nursing Assistant License required.
• Previous 6 months of experience in long-term care desired.

Mansioni

• Transport residents to appointments, activities and events in a timely and safe manner per state laws.
• Serve as back-up for the life enrichment coordinator handling resident activities.
• Contribute to creating a home-like atmosphere and person-centered care for residents.

The Transportation Aide position is responsible for transporting residents to appointments, activities and events in a timely and safe manner and in accordance with the laws of this state. Advances the value that the resident comes first. The employee values the Community as the residents’ home and works to create attributes of home and models person centered care. This position is the backup for our life enrichment coordinator that handles resident activities.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE And/or TRAINING

• High School diploma or equivalent desired.
• Valid driver’s license according to the laws of the state.
• Must possess and maintain a superior accident free record both in the performance of work duties and personal driving.
• CPR certified or willingness to obtain.
• Certified Nursing Assistant License required.
• Previous 6 months of experience in long-term care desired.
