Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Portland Rehab & Wellness Center in Portland, TN is seeking a Transportation Aide to assist with resident transport to appointments, events, and on‑floor duties, supporting safe, compassionate care.

The ideal candidate will have CNA certification preferred or willingness to enroll in a CNA program within six months, CPR certification, and a valid Tennessee driver’s license with limited incidents.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification preferred, or willingness to complete a state-approved CNA program and become a CNA within six months of hire.
• Current/active CPR certification
• Valid State Driver’s License with no more than 3 entries; counting accidents, moving violation, and failures to appear
• Customer service oriented, able to work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments, community events, and others as needed
• Confirm doctors’ appointments for residents
• Notify family of arrangements regarding appointments
• Monitor daily documentation and filing
• All other duties as assigned

How you Will make a difference
