Job summary

The Container Store is seeking a Transportation Clerk to support store replenishment and Direct to Customer shipments from our Distribution Center in Coppell, TX. This full-time, hourly, non-exempt role uses the Transportation Management System to schedule trucks and communicate with carriers and stores.

You will manage day-to-day scheduling, maintain confidential information, and collaborate across teams to ensure timely shipments and smooth merchandise flows.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safety.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to pass background checks and investigations due to regulations.
• Willing to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Uses MMS Truck Scheduling to build shipping schedules for Store Replenishment and Direct to Customer shipments.
• Uses Transportation Management System to create trucks and communicate them to carriers and stores.
• Acts as conduit of information between Carriers and Stores.
• Maintains punctuality and adheres to assigned schedule.
• Maintains discretion regarding confidential/sensitive information.
• Performs other tasks and duties as requested.
