Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics/Distribution Coordinator to partner with cross-functional teams and manage outbound shipments. You will use WMS/TMS to identify orders, schedule pickups, and communicate routing instructions to DC operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a Distribution Center, Transportation Department or Customer Service field preferred.
• Ability to partner with multiple cross-functional teams.
• Ability to problem solve and innovative thinking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven organizational, prioritization and time management abilities.
• Ability to communicate professionally, both orally and in writing.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks, simultaneously, without compromising quality.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse/Transportation Management Systems (TMS/WMS).
• PKMS & AS400 knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Inbound Transportation and Order Management teams to route orders.
• Follow up with customers and carriers to ensure timely pick up.
• Follow routing instructions to minimize chargebacks.
• Maintain records for customer paid orders and communicated routing instructions.
• Identify and recommend routing efficiencies.
• Assigned outbound customers/accounts and support relationships.
