Job summary

The Container Store in Coppell, TX is seeking a Transportation Clerk to ensure timely creation of Store Replenishment and Direct to Customer shipments within the DC.

You will use MMS Truck Scheduling and the Transportation Management System to coordinate freight, communicate with carriers and stores, and support merchandise flows. This is a full-time, hourly, in-office role requiring initiative and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to pass background checks and investigations due to regulatory requirements.
• Committed to scheduled hours with flexibility for additional hours as needed.
• Knowledge of industry business trends.

Responsibilities

• Uses MMS Truck Scheduling to build shipping schedule for Store Replenishment within the Distribution Center.
• Leverages Transportation Management System to create trucks and communicate them to Stores.
• Conduit of information between Carriers and Stores.
• Consistently arrives promptly to work the assigned schedule.
• Maintains discretion related to confidential/sensitive company and customer information.
• Performs other requested tasks and duties.
