Job summary

Flood and Peterson Insurance is seeking a driven Risk Advisor to join our Transportation Practice. You will develop and grow your own book of business while partnering with transportation and logistics clients to implement customized risk management strategies.

You will collaborate with seasoned service teams, industry specialists, and partners to deliver outcomes and long-term value, building a rewarding career in a key Colorado market.

Qualifications

• AA or 4–6 years of related experience or equivalent
• Colorado Property & Casualty Insurance License within 2 months of hire
• STAR designation required
• Current Colorado driver’s license with acceptable MVR

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build a pipeline within Colorado’s transportation and logistics sector
• Manage client relationships as a trusted risk advisor
• Hit or exceed annual new business and sales velocity targets
• Conduct risk needs analyses across operations, property, liability, cyber, and supply chain
• Collaborate with service teams and carrier partners to deliver excellent service
• Engage with industry associations to expand network and market presence
• Develop proposals and presentations with marketing for transportation clients
