Job summary

Translogistix is seeking a Transportation Recruiter to support hiring for contractors and owner-operators. Based in Savage, MD (onsite), this full-time role partners with operations to identify, vet, and onboard the right candidates.

You will collaborate with department managers to post job requirements, source candidates through SCI and Indeed, and manage the onboarding from start to finish. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of proven experience as an Internal Recruiter, Recruiter, or similar role in transportation/logistics preferred.
• Experience sourcing Final Mile Home Delivery Contractors is preferred.
• Proficient with SCI and Indeed recruiting tools.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate professionally with other departments.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with department managers to determine location hiring needs and create job postings with requirements and qualifications.
• Source candidates using online channels, professional networks, job boards, and participate in job fairs.
• Perform initial candidate vetting using SOPs and align screening to job requirements.
• Provide department managers with regular updates on hiring status and onboarding progress.
• Guide new hires through the onboarding process from start to finish.

What you'll do

• Work with department managers to determine location hiring needs and create job board postings, including role requirements and qualification criteria.
• Source candidates using online channels, professional networks, job boards, and participation in scheduled job fairs.
• Perform initial candidate vetting using corporate standard operating procedures and align screening to the requirements of advertised positions.
• Provide department managers with regular updates on hiring status for open roles and communicate effectively when new hires are fully onboarded.
• Guide new hires through the onboarding process from start to completion.

What we're looking for

• 1+ years of proven experience as an Internal Recruiter, Recruiter, or similar role (transportation and logistics hiring contractors or owner-operators preferred).
• Experience sourcing Final Mile Home Delivery Contractors is preferred.
• Solid recruiting application experience, with SCI and Indeed listed as key tools (SCI is specifically noted; Indeed is a plus).
• Ability to communicate and collaborate professionally with other departments.
• Strong self-management and time-management skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Compensation and work details

Salary: USD 45,000 per year (From $45,000.00 per year).
