Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for assigned positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Generalist to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Source candidates using job boards, referrals, community outreach, job fairs, and talent pipelines.
  • Review resumes, screen applicants, and conduct initial candidate interviews.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and HR partners.
  • Manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
  • Recruit CDL drivers, school bus drivers, motorcoach operators, shuttle drivers, and other frontline transportation staff.
  • Support high-volume hiring initiatives and seasonal staffing needs.
  • Promote the company's employment brand within local communities and industry networks.
  • Maintain active talent pipelines for critical operational roles.
  • Work closely with the HR Generalist to ensure smooth onboarding and transition of new hires.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screening, motor vehicle records, and compliance documentation.
  • Support HR Generalist with onboarding scheduling, new hire communication, and orientation preparation.
  • Collaborate on workforce planning, vacancy tracking, and hiring priorities.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and hiring standards.
  • Provide timely and professional communication to all candidates.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manage job offers, negotiations, and onboarding documentation in coordination with HR.
  • Track candidate progress and maintain accurate applicant tracking system (ATS) records.
  • Maintain accurate records in the ATS and recruiting systems.
  • Track key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and candidate conversion rates.
  • Prepare recruiting activity reports for HR leadership and operations teams.
  • Monitor pipeline activity and proactively address hiring gaps.

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates for transportation operations roles, including drivers, maintenance technicians, dispatchers, administrative staff, and support positions. This role works in close partnership with the Human Resources Generalist to ensure a seamless hiring process, consistent candidate experience, and alignment with workforce needs.


The Recruiter manages full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offer coordination while collaborating with Operations, Safety, Maintenance, and HR to support staffing goals, reduce time-to-fill, and improve retention.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for assigned positions.

Education
