Zusammenfassung

Woolpert seeks a Project Surveyor to drive survey and geospatial work for Ohio transportation projects, primarily for ODOT. You will lead scoping, team coordination, and design-ready deliverables while ensuring quality and schedule adherence.

You will collaborate with project managers, field crews, and subconsultants, applying CADD standards and ensuring compliance with Ohio surveying laws. This role requires travel and a strong client focus.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting ODOT or similar transportation projects.
• Strong knowledge of survey, mapping, and right-of-way principles.
• Familiarity with ODOT standards and CADD workflows.
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel, as needed.
• Ability to interpret plans, deeds, plats, and legal descriptions.

Aufgaben

• Lead survey tasks and project phases for ODOT and Ohio transportation clients.
• Coordinate field activities, traffic-control needs, and safety requirements.
• Develop survey approaches for roadway, bridge, and corridor projects.
• Plan project control, GNSS observations, traverses, and topographic surveys.
• Oversee QA/QC, accuracy checks, and final deliverables.
• Mentor survey crews and coordinate with design teams and subconsultants.
• Support proposals, prequalification, and client communications.
