Job summary

Freese and Nichols, Inc. seeks a Transportation Project Manager for our Raleigh or Winston-Salem offices to lead projects for NCDOT and local agencies. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating engineers, designers, and subconsultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 6+ years of transportation engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation projects from concept through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate project teams, including engineers, designers, and subconsultants.
• Maintain strong working relationships with NCDOT and local agencies.
• Support quality control and technical review of project deliverables.
• Assist with proposals and business development efforts as needed.
