Job summary

Freese and Nichols, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Transportation Project Manager to oversee key transportation projects in Central Texas. This role combines transportation planning and traffic engineering with project management, allowing for significant influence on local infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, relevant certifications, and at least six years of experience in the transportation sector. The position is hybrid, offering flexibility with up to 40% remote work option.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in transportation planning and/or traffic engineering, with at least 2 years in project management.
• Experience in multimodal planning, corridor/special area studies, access management, parking, and active transportation.
• Prior consulting or municipal/DOT experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage transportation planning and traffic projects.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.
• Support facilitation of public meetings and presentations.
