CivilCorp, LLC, an ESP Company, is currently seeking a Transportation Project Manager to join our team in Round Rock, TX.
CivilCorp is a professional service firm offering civil engineering and land surveying services throughout Texas. CivilCorp’s main office is in Victoria, TX, with additional offices in Houston, Fulshear, Corpus Christi, and Round Rock.

Responsibilities
- Project Management oversight.
- Ensure project compliance with applicable federal and state laws, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform QA/QC of the work produced by other engineers.
- Monitor resources and project status to successfully advance design efforts & deliverables.
- Maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups, both internal and external.
- Prepare Plans, Specification & Estimate (PS&E), preliminary engineering reports, schematic design, drainage design, and TCPs for roadway projects.
- Perform and coordinate the review and processing of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) submission, special specifications or special provisions.
- Develop and review engineering-related documents, correspondence, reports, and remediation plans.
- Monitor sub-consultants' progress and work quality, check invoices and associated documents; prepare supplemental agreements as needed.
- Interpret manuals and required guidelines for traffic control plans/operations.
- Supervision of technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters of Engineering degree or other professionally recognized equivalent discipline from an accredited program.
- Professional registration (PE) within the field of engineering with the ability to obtain a Texas PE within 6 months.
- 5+ years of work experience within highway design and transportation engineering.
- Experience in designing highway and freeway projects (PS&E), including geometry design, Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) modeling, culvert and drainage design, retaining wall design, and development of deliverables.
- Credible experience in using Microstation, GeoPak (Road and Drainage), and OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and highway design programs.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
- Must pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record.
Preferred
- TxDOT Precertification (hydrologic, interchange design, roadway design, drainage, etc.).
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) models.
- Storm drain system development and/or design.
- Ability to create ORD templates.
- Experience in schematic development.
- Knowledge of TxDOT standards, specifications, policies, and procedures.
- Relationships with potential clients in Central Texas such as TxDOT, CTRMA, counties, and municipalities.
- Additional skills like Civil 3D or related disciplines.
