Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Manager to lead transportation design projects in the West Pacific region. You will manage multi-disciplined teams, develop scopes and budgets, and support marketing and business development with major transportation agencies.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams, mentoring staff, and ensuring project quality while adhering to firm procedures. Travel may be required to support various state and municipal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4 years of related experience.
• PMI/CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and serve as the Project Manager on transportation planning and design projects.
• Support marketing and business development efforts to expand clients and opportunities.
• Build teams to match project needs and establish partnerships with industry firms.
• Mentor staff to enhance transportation services capabilities.
• Assist in identifying potential new staff to expand transportation practice.
• Develop scope, schedule and budget for projects.
• Monitor and control projects to ensure financial performance.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards for firm and client.
• Implement QA/QC of key deliverables and adherence to quality procedures.
