Wightman & Associates, Inc. in Kalamazoo seeks a Civil Engineer with extensive transportation project leadership to join our team.
You will manage projects, build client relationships, and lead collaborators across disciplines to deliver transportation solutions. You bring 8+ years in the A/E/C industry with a proven record of retaining and attracting transportation clients, strong business development skills, and the ability to guide design teams from concept to completion while meeting
Competenze
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years managing transportation projects in the A/E/C industry.
- 8+ years of transportation client retention/attraction experience.
Mansioni
- Maintain and foster relationships with transportation clients.
- Perform AutoCAD Civil 3D design/drafting to support projects.
- Provide training, guidance and review designs and reports.
- Oversee team performance and workload; coordinate with other locations.
- Manage projects including client communications, public input and finances.
- Draft proposals and estimate fees for clients.
- Identify funding mechanisms to support transportation clients.
- Experience consulting with local, regional, and state government.
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Lead others and meet tight deadlines; oversee multiple projects.
