Job summary
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects in Kansas City is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead a team delivering street, highway, and interstate projects across Missouri and the Midwest. You will assist in winning new projects and grow the transportation group by mentoring direct reports.
You will work closely with clients, project managers, and support staff to execute work and ensure successful project completion, with full guidance from senior staff to support your growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Licensed engineer in Missouri.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the design of streets and highways.
- Proficiency with Microstation/OpenRoads.
- Knowledge of and experience with federal, state and local regulations that pertain to street/highway design.
- Experience mentoring less experienced staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team to deliver street, highway, and interstate projects across Missouri and the Midwest.
- Assist in winning new projects and growing the transportation group.
- Manage career growth of direct reports and mentor staff.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and support staff to execute work.
- Ensure successful completion of projects with guidance from senior staff.
