Apex is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our growing transportation team in Florida. This role supports roadway, drainage, multimodal, and public infrastructure projects for FDOT and local government clients throughout the state.

You'll design plans, develop calculations, coordinate with utilities and permitting agencies, participate in field reviews, and assist with proposal development. The position offers mentorship, responsibility early, and opportunities to advance into technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required
• EI certification or PE license depending on experience level
• Experience with transportation, roadway, drainage, or municipal infrastructure projects
• Working knowledge of FDOT standards and design practices
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation preferred
• Sponsorship not available now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Preparing roadway, drainage, and transportation design plans.
• Developing calculations, quantities, estimates, and technical documentation.
• Coordinating with utilities, permitting agencies, and project stakeholders.
• Participating in field reviews, constructability evaluations, and quality control reviews.
• Assisting with proposal development and client support efforts.
