Job summary

Forsgren Associates, a newly acquired Apex Company, seeks an experienced Transportation Engineer to join our team as Engineer 3. You will prepare drawings, specifications, and contract documents, while coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure permitting compliance.

You will manage budgets and schedules, support bidding and construction, and provide technical guidance and quality control on transportation projects. Idaho PE or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 3+ years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Experience designing transportation facilities for State transportation departments & local jurisdictions.
• Experience with ITD’s procedures and requirements.
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies for permitting compliance.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for projects.
• Support clients with services during bidding, contracting, and construction.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and quality control.
