Job summary

Forsgren Associates, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Engineer to prepare engineering drawings and manage projects in Rexburg, Idaho. The ideal candidate needs a B.S. in Civil Engineering, PE registration in Idaho (or ability to obtain it), and 3+ years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Experience with transportation facility design for State transportation departments.
• Ability to obtain Idaho PE registration within 6 months.

Your Responsibilities As a Transportation Engineer

• Prepare Engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies for permitting compliance
• Prepare budgets and schedules for projects
• Support clients with services during bidding, contracting, and construction
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Provide technical guidance and quality control

What We're Looking For

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• 3+ years of Civil Engineering experience
• Experience in designing transportation facilities for State transportation departments & local jurisdictions
• Experience with ITD’s procedures and requirements
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software
