Job summary

Forsgren Associates, recently acquired Apex Company, is seeking a Transportation Engineer in Idaho Falls to prepare drawings, specifications and contract documents, and to coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies for permitting compliance. You will prepare budgets and schedules, support bidding and construction, and manage project scopes with technical guidance and quality control.

A PE license in Idaho or eligibility within 6 months is required, with a competitive compensation package

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• PE registration in Idaho or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 3+ years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Experience designing transportation facilities for State DOTs and local jurisdictions.
• Experience with ITD procedures and requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads and Geopak.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies for permitting compliance.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for projects.
• Support clients during bidding, contracting, and construction.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and quality control.
