Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our Idaho Falls team. You will prepare engineering drawings, coordinate with clients and regulators for permitting, and develop project budgets and schedules to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires a PE in Idaho (or the ability to obtain within 6 months) and 3+ years of Civil Engineering experience, with expertise in transportation facilities and ITD procedures. Attractive benefits and a sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 3+ years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Experience designing transportation facilities for State DOTs and local jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with ITD procedures and requirements.

What we're looking for:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• 3+ years of Civil Engineering experience
• Experience in designing transportation facilities for State transportation departments & local jurisdictions
• Experience with ITD’s procedures and requirements
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software
