J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Project Designer-EIT in Meridian, ID to join its Transportation Services Group. You will collaborate with design teams, produce transportation plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation/OpenRoads, and support project delivery through analysis, drawings, and specifications.

You will engage with clients, attend meetings, and assist in field activities. The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an active EIT, with 1–3 years of transportation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required.
• 1–3 years of transportation engineering experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• History of transportation projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams on planning, design, and permitting of transportation projects.
• Operate CAD tools to produce alignments, models, and plans per current standards.
• Report to Project Engineer or Project Manager and support project delivery.
• Analyze data and prepare documents such as cost opinions, drawings, specs, and memos.
• Assist in client relations and business development; participate in meetings with clients and the public.
• Coordinate with utility companies and perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation.
