Horrocks is seeking a Traffic Engineer - EIT or PE to join our Transportation Department in Meridian, Idaho. You will manage projects from start to finish, performing traffic analysis, design, reports, and cost estimates under supervision.

Qualifications include a BS in Civil Engineering, Idaho EIT or PE, 3+ years of transportation experience, proficiency with Civil 3D or OpenRoads, and strong communication skills. Competitive compensation and strong benefits offered.

Formación

• BS degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Interest in both Traffic Analysis and Traffic Design.
• EIT (FE) or PE license in Idaho.
• 3+ years in transportation engineering; PE license within 1 year of hire.
• Experience with ITD, LHTAC, ACHD or local Treasure Valley agencies.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D or OpenRoads; knowledge of ITD/ISPWC standards.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, design, and analyze traffic for freeways, interstates, interchanges and roadways.
• Prepare transportation studies, memos, reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Produce deliverables including memos, design plans and reports.
• Design traffic signals, illumination, signing, and pavement markings.
• Develop maintenance of traffic and traffic control plans.
• Apply MUTCD, DOT and local standards to designs.
