J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Project Designer-EIT in Meridian, Idaho. You will join a Transportation Services Group focused on local and state transportation projects, using CAD tools to develop alignments, models, and plans.

This role supports a collaborative team, reports to a Project Engineer/Manager, and contributes to cost analyses, drawings, specifications, and engineering reports while engaging with clients and the public.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification (F.E. exam) required.
• 1–3 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Strong communication skills and a focus on quality deliverables.

Responsabilidades

• Work with multidisciplinary design teams on planning, design, construction, and permitting of transportation projects.
• Operate CAD to produce alignments, models, and plans using current standards.
• Work in a team setting, reporting to a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Analyze engineering data and prepare final documents: cost opinions, drawings, specs, studies, and reports.
• Assist in business development by building client relationships and delivering quality work.
• Attend client meetings and public meetings to discuss project details.
• Coordinate with utility companies.
• Perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation and project reconnaissance.
