J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. in Idaho Falls is seeking a Project Designer (EIT) to contribute to water resources and municipal projects in our Idaho Falls office.

The role supports planning, design, and client coordination, with fieldwork and public meetings as part of project delivery. Candidates should have a BS in Civil/Water Resources/Environmental Engineering, EIT, and 0–4 years in civil engineering; strong teamwork, communication, and writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering.
• Engineering Intern (E.I.) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification (passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam) required.
• 0-4 years of civil engineering experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams in planning, design, and construction of water resources and municipal projects.
• Develop business by building relationships with clients and assisting with proposals.
• Collaborate with clients, operators, regulatory agencies, funding agencies, and contractors on project requirements and deliverables.
• Attend client meetings and participate in public meetings or open houses to discuss project details and inform the public.
• Perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation, monitoring equipment installation, and project reconnaissance.
• Coordinate with other staff assigned to projects including PE’s, EI’s, drafters, funding team, and construction observers.
