Job summary

Southeastern Engineering Inc. is seeking a Project Manager Assistant in the Transportation Department to support the Program Manager and Project Manager on GDOT PMCs and Prime consultant projects.

You will assist in coordinating roadway design, bridge design, transportation planning, and environmental tasks. You will help manage engineering reports, plans and specifications, and assist with cost estimates, contract documents, and approvals.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree, preferably in engineering.
• Transportation project experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn Georgia Department of Transportation policies and firm procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PM in managing consultant design of transportation projects.
• Assist in preparing engineering reports, plans, specifications, contract documents and estimates.
• Assist in bidding and contract administration as needed.
• Coordinate projects with City, State, County officials and other agencies.
• Communicate with project team members and client representatives as required.
• Support reporting metrics and project progress tracking.
