Job summary

Southeastern Engineering, Inc. seeks a Project Manager Assistant to support the Transportation Department on GDOT PMCs and Prime consultant programs.

You will assist the Program Manager and Project Manager with roadway and bridge design, planning, and environmental tasks. Responsibilities include preparing reports, plans, specs, and contract documents, aiding in bid administration, and coordinating with city, state, and county officials as well as other agencies.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree, preferably in the field of engineering.
• Transportation project experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PM in managing consultant’s design transportation projects including roadway and bridge design.
• Assist in preparing engineering reports, plans and specifications for projects.
• Assist in reviewing preliminary and final plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Assist in bid and contract administration as needed.
• Coordinate project activities with City, State, County officials, and outside agencies.
• Support project team communication and reporting metrics.
