Job summary

ENDEAVORS in Austin, TX seeks a Transportation and Program Assistant to support daily operations and provide administrative assistance. You will safely transport clients and families to appointments, manage travel schedules, and perform clerical duties while maintaining confidentiality and a respectful, client-centered approach.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, an associate degree, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential material responsibly.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and Google tools.
• Second language proficiency strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients and families to appointments, interviews, and local locations safely.
• Provide local transportation as assigned by program leadership.
• Work irregular shifts and be available to transport clients as needed.
• Maintain a calendar that tracks clients' travel needs and ensures on-time arrivals.
• Maintain travel logs and client transportation records.
• Assist clients with getting in and out of vehicles and loading/unloading.
• Perform clerical duties for program leadership, including filing, drafting, and reports.
• Assist in scheduling meetings, programs, and events related to clients.
• Manage forms, spreadsheets, and program documents.
• Maintain client confidentiality and safety procedures.
• Maintain a positive, respectful demeanor with staff, clients, and the public.
• Build positive relationships with staff and clients.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service focused on empowering clients.
