Parsons Corporation seeks a highly experienced Project Manager/Program Director to lead transportation infrastructure projects in the Chicago, IL area and surrounding region. The role requires an active PE, extensive highway project leadership, and the ability to manage large budgets with a hybrid work arrangement.

Ideal candidates have 20+ years in large-scale transportation projects, experience with IDOT tollways, and a track record in contract scope/fee negotiations.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 20+ years of large transportation project experience.
• PE registration is highly preferred.
• Experience with Illinois Tollway and Illinois DOT is strongly preferred.
• Last 5 years as a consultant Contract Manager and Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage transportation engineering projects worth large-scale budgets.
• Prepare project initiation, approval, and design documents including studies, reports, plans, specs, and estimates.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of IDOT project development and funding processes.
