IMMI is seeking a Product & Quality Engineer to design, validate, and launch transportation safety products in a manufacturing environment. You will apply APQP, DFMEA, DVP&R, CAD tools, and Lean methods to meet quality and cost targets.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, documentation, and continuous improvement to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 3+ years in product development, manufacturing or quality engineering.
• Experience with developing and validating products in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with automotive or transportation safety standards is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support development and launch of new or improved transportation safety products using Stage-Gate and APQP.
• Create and manage engineering deliverables: specs, timing, costs, design reviews, DFMEA, DVP&R, drawings, validation plans.
• Develop documentation to comply with policies and customer requirements.
• Design components using SolidWorks or similar CAD software and evaluate prototypes and tests.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams on technical requirements and changes.
