Job summary

Jqolusa seeks a Director of Transportation to lead the firm's Savannah-based transportation practice, guiding strategy, project oversight, client relations, and business development to grow market presence.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia PE license (or eligibility), 12+ years in transportation engineering, and at least 5 years in a leadership role, with a proven record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• Licensed PE in Georgia or eligible to obtain licensure.
• 12+ years in transportation engineering.
• 5+ years in leadership/management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and improvement of technical processes and standards.
• Lead project management across design projects with QA/QC and staffing.
• Develop staff through reviews and mentorship.
• Review timesheets and manage workload.
• Provide accurate projections and monitor billings.
• Develop and review project proposals.
• Direct a design team to manage projects end-to-end.
