Job summary

Savannah region seeks a Director of Transportation to lead and grow the transportation practice. You will oversee projects, guide design teams, manage client relationships, and drive business development to expand market presence.

The ideal candidate has a PE, a Civil Engineering degree, 12+ years in transportation engineering, and 5+ years in leadership, along with strong communication and QA/QC oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE license required (GA or ability to obtain).
• 12+ years of experience in transportation engineering.
• 5+ years in a leadership or management role.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the development and improvement of technical processes and standards.
• Overall project management success on all design projects including QAQC and teaming management.
• Staff development and progression including employee reviews and mentorship.
• Timesheet review and approval and tracking workload/utilization.
• Accurate reporting on projections and review of department billings.
• Develop and review project proposals; manage design projects by leading a design team.
