Job summary

HDR is seeking an engineering intern to join the Transportation Business Group in Florida. You will support engineers and project teams on transportation planning, design, and infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to real-world solutions.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
Attention to detail.
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.
Experience with CAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, GIS, or similar software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support engineers and project teams on transportation planning, design, and infrastructure projects.
Assist with roadway, bridge, aviation, transit, and multimodal transportation assignments.
Participate in field visits, project meetings, and technical analyses.
Utilize engineering software, GIS tools, and industry technologies to solve real-world challenges.
Collaborate with professionals across multiple disciplines in a team-oriented environment.
Contribute innovative ideas that improve project delivery and transportation outcomes.
