Job summary

HDR is seeking engineering interns to support transportation planning, design, and infrastructure projects in Florida. You will assist with roadway, bridge, aviation, transit, and multimodal assignments, participate in field visits and meetings, and apply GIS and CAD software to real-world challenges.

As an intern in HDR's Transportation Business Group in Florida, you will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to meaningful projects that shape communities across the state.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Experience with CAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D or GIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers and project teams on transportation planning, design, and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with roadway, bridge, aviation, transit, and multimodal transportation assignments.
• Participate in field visits, project meetings, and technical analyses.
• Utilize engineering software, GIS tools, and industry technologies to solve real-world challenges.
• Collaborate with professionals across multiple disciplines in a team-oriented environment.
