Job summary

HDR invites motivated engineering students to join as interns in Florida, contributing to transportation planning, design, and infrastructure projects. You will assist in roadway, bridge, aviation, and multimodal assignments while gaining field exposure, project meetings, and technical analyses.

As an intern, you will work with CAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, GIS, and other industry technologies, under mentorship and with opportunities for hands-on growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.
• Experience with CAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, GIS, or similar software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers and project teams on transportation planning, design, and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with roadway, bridge, aviation, transit, and multimodal transportation assignments.
• Participate in field visits, project meetings, and technical analyses.
• Utilize engineering software, GIS tools, and industry technologies to solve real-world challenges.
• Collaborate with professionals across multiple disciplines in a team-oriented environment.
• Contribute innovative ideas that improve project delivery and transportation outcomes.
