Job summary

HDR’s Transportation Internship in Florida invites undergraduate and graduate engineering students to work alongside our project teams on transportation planning, design, and infrastructure. You’ll participate in field visits, meetings, and analyses, using CAD, Civil 3D, GIS and related tools to solve real-world challenges while collaborating across disciplines.

You'll receive mentorship, professional development, and hands-on experience shaping communities with HDR's Transportation Business

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.
• Desire to learn, collaborate, and contribute in a professional environment.
• Experience with CAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, GIS, or similar software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers and project teams on transportation planning, design, and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with roadway, bridge, aviation, transit, and multimodal transportation assignments.
• Participate in field visits, project meetings, and technical analyses.
• Utilize engineering software, GIS tools, and industry technologies to solve real-world challenges.
• Collaborate with professionals across multiple disciplines in a team-oriented environment.
• Contribute innovative ideas that improve project delivery and transportation outcomes.
