Job summary

Stantec seeks a Project Manager, PD&E in Florida to lead transportation planning and PD&E efforts for major arterials, highways, and transit projects. You will supervise teams, coordinate schedules, and work with leadership across Florida locations such as Orlando, Lake Mary, Coral Gables, and Jacksonville.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering highway/roadway transportation planning and/or design experience.
• Experience managing all aspects of roadway infrastructure development including planning, traffic engineering, corridor studies, and PD&E studies.
• Experience in project pursuits with client engagement and proposal development.
• Understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team on multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop technical discipline teams on transportation planning and PD&E projects.
• Coordinate client engagements, pursuits, and proposal preparation.
• Serve as senior technical lead in development of concepts, reports, and studies.
• Build strong client relationships and pursue challenging projects.
• Develop value-added solutions and lead contract pursuits for engineering services.
• Raise the company profile within the transportation industry through professional organizations.
• Plan, organize, and supervise work of other transportation professionals.
• Negotiate, plan, monitor and deliver quality projects and consulting services.
• Review engineered designs for conformance with standards.
