Job summary

Orange County Government seeks a Parking Operations Supervisor within the Security, Parking, and Transportation Division at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, FL. You will oversee day-to-day parking operations, supervise a team, maintain equipment, and coordinate with event management to ensure smooth traffic flow and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include budgeting, policy development, and collaboration with FDOT, MetroPlan Orlando, and private partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience in transportation planning, traffic or public transportation or closely related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Ability to lift to 25-50 pounds occasionally.
• Parking operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative oversight of transportation planning and traffic operations for the OCCC Transportation Section, supervising transportation personnel and managing event traffic.
• Leads staff in coordinating multi-level transportation planning and regional traffic management with agency partners.
• Prepares and manages the annual operating budget for the Transportation Section; tracks expenditures and oversees vendor contracts.
• Develops section policies and procedures and participates in the Division's policy review board.
• Coordinates transportation planning initiatives with internal divisions, county departments, external agencies, and private sector stakeholders.
• Develops long-range planning and strategy for the section's mission in alignment with leadership.
• Prepares presentations and reports for senior management and clients regarding transportation plans and initiatives.
