Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in transportation.
• Minimum two years of experience in fleet management, routing, and safety compliance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and audit procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise transportation operations, including dispatched trucking and drivers.
• Schedule daily routes and ensure efficiency and on-time performance.
• Oversee driver route scheduling, vacations, and vehicle maintenance.
• Supervise loading of products onto trailers or trucks and prepare delivery documents.
• Coordinate pickups with purchasing and manage transportation budgets.
• Develop and manage budgets for the transportation department.
• Address inquiries and resolve transportation-related issues.
• Optimize daily routes and support driver incentive and safety programs.
• Recommend route changes to improve profitability and assist in cross-training programs for drivers.
