Job summary

The Wonderful Company LLC is seeking a Transportation Operations support role to manage day-to-day dispatching and coordination with carriers and internal teams. You will help ensure timely loads and accurate pickup numbers while upholding safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating with sales, shipping, and claims, monitoring driver issues, and contributing to performance metrics within our Transportation and Customer Service teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1–2 years’ experience preferred.
• Must maintain excellent attendance.
• Strong decision-making abilities.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to talk to all levels of our organization.
• Advanced computer skills required with preference in Oracle Warehouse Management and Oracle Transportation Management systems.
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills with proven problem-solving ability.
• Basic knowledge of DOT trucking regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch loads to carriers and brokers.
• Oversee transportation process from shipping docks to final customer location.
• Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns, or weather issues.
• Work with sales, shipping, claims, and other departments to solve transportation matters.
• Collaborate within Transportation team and Customer Service.
• Ensure trucks are checked in and have correct pickup numbers.
• Participate in Carrier Score carding.
• Help the team achieve key performance metrics.
