Job summary

POM Wonderful is seeking a Transportation Operator to support day-to-day operations, coordinating with internal and external customers. The role involves dispatching loads to carriers, overseeing the transportation process, and reporting driver issues.

Base compensation is $21/hour, with a focus on reliable attendance and teamwork to meet KPIs. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, 1-2 years of experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 1-2 years' experience preferred.
• Must maintain excellent attendance and possess strong communication skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch loads to carriers and brokers and oversee the transportation process.
• Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents or weather concerns.
• Collaborate with sales, shipping, claims and other departments to solve transport-related problems.
• Ensure trucks are checked in with correct pickup numbers and participate in carrier scorecarding.
• Help the team achieve key performance metrics.
