Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team in a high-demand, night-shift setting at our Charlotte operation. The role focuses on exceeding goals, planning for execution, and maintaining an incident-free safety culture while meeting the site financial operating plan.

The role oversees supervisors and staff, drives route optimization, and collaborates with Penske sites to share best practices. Bonus eligibility applies based on performance and location.

• Experience managing resources to meet financial operating plans.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and sustain trained and competent supervisors and associates aligned with customer objectives.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop and retain quality associates.
• Maintain effective two-way communication that informs, motivates and acknowledges excellence.
• Build strong relationships with associates, the customer, and supporting departments.
• Meet or exceed customer KPIs and objectives.
• Interact daily with local customer to understand needs and expectations.
• Lead improvements in route optimization, carrier selection, backhauls, and trailer loading.
• Collaborate with other Penske sites to share best practices and resources.
• Develop and execute annual financial and operating plan.
• Lead a safety-focused culture and reduce incidents.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings for the customer and Penske.
• Ensure accurate customer billings and payroll, and correct intercompany charges.
