Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring an Operations Manager to lead teams in a dynamic environment, driving performance and customer satisfaction. You will develop forward-looking plans and translate them into successful execution while managing resources to meet financial targets.

A strong safety culture and continuous improvement are essential. You will oversee daily operations, ensure KA metrics are met, and collaborate with customers and departments.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years related functional experience.
• 3+ years managerial or supervisory experience with DOT regulated positions required.
• High School degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint required.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with associates and customers at all levels.
• Strong time management, organizational skills and follow-through.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change; ownership of operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to consistently exceed established goals and align with customer objectives.
• Develop and execute annual financial and operating plans; manage P&L measures.
• Ensure safety culture and regulatory compliance across the operation.
• Communicate with customer and internal teams to identify needs and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Penske sites to share best practices and resources.
