Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a Transportation Operations Leader to manage domestic planning and execution across suppliers, co-packers, DCs, and manufacturing sites. You will ensure shipments move at published rates while achieving high service levels, partnering with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales and Operations Planning, and carrier partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and third-party providers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
• Experience with SAP and Oracle Transportation Management systems preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation modes, metrics, and rate structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of distribution operations and end-to-end supply chain processes.
• High sense of urgency with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Travel up to 10% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transportation Operations Planning team to deliver service, cost, and productivity objectives.
• Partner with Transportation Procurement and Logistics Operations leaders to develop strategies.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and S&OP on service, capacity, and cost reductions.
• Build carrier relationships and manage carrier scorecards to improve service levels and costs.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop transportation planning staff.
• Leverage Oracle Transportation Management to strengthen capabilities, analytics, and efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for scalable processes.
• Identify and execute projects to improve transportation performance and customer service.
• Analyze transportation metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide recommendations on carrier utilization, programs and rate optimization.
