Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• At least one year of law enforcement or six months in security with detainees.
• Two years’ experience as a detention supervisor or Corrections Transport Supervisor.
• Clear criminal history; no felonies or Class A misdemeanors.
• Must have and maintain a Class B CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements.
• Must pass a background investigation and obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Observe, supervise, and coordinate Transportation Officers during detention and transport.
• Conduct shift start inspections for dress and appearance standards.
• Ensure proper dispatch, vehicle checks, and workload assignments.
• Provide muster passes daily and supervise subordinates.
• Escort detainees to flights and guard during transport, maintaining safety.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and hours of service documentation.
• Prepare service reports and maintain records for audits and investigations.
• Report incidents promptly and assist with investigations as needed.
