Qualifications

• Degree (B.A.) candidate from College or University or related experience; or equivalent combination of both education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn additional software tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow processes used daily in the department.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions.
• Review metrics and trends affecting transportation reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Assist leadership with department transformation initiatives.
• Apply classroom learnings to real-world problems and technology or process improvements.
• Participate in team meetings and strategic brainstorming sessions.
• Assist in carrier pickup and delivery monitoring.
• Participate in overage, shortage, and damaged reviews.
