Job summary

Camdenton Middle School seeks a Transportation Department Secretary & Dispatcher to support safe student transport operations. You will manage routing, scheduling, and dispatch activities, maintain records, and assist with compliance and communications with families and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma, ~2 years in school transportation, and strong organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of TransAct and CDL guidance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in school transportation operations preferred.
• Knowledge of Missouri school transportation laws, regulations and safety requirements.
• Familiarity with CDL requirements and federal/state transportation regulations.
• Proficiency with routing software and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update student transportation routes in routing software.
• Coordinate daily dispatch operations and bus line-up materials.
• Coordinate substitute driver assignments and vehicle usage.
• Assist with route adjustments, scheduling, and summer program transportation.
• Communicate changes to transportation staff and district personnel.
