Job summary

STA Family of Companies is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily transportation for students, drivers, schools, and parents. You will communicate via two-way radio and phone, arrange routes, supervise driver coverage, and ensure safety and compliance with state and federal regulations.

This full-time on-site role requires a High School diploma, CDL or willingness to obtain within 90 days, and strong customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL or ability and willingness to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with schools, parents, drivers and aides; answer inquiries by phone and radio.
• Ensure employees report to work as scheduled and complete paperwork.
• Plan, schedule and assign drivers for daily routes, special trips and field activities, including observer routes and charters.
