Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to manage orders from request to execution in a safety‑minded, team‑oriented environment. You will support the transportation team by maintaining documents, directing calls, and generating reports to ensure exceptional service and quality for Core-Mark customers.

The role requires basic math and data entry skills, a High School Diploma or GED, and experience with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months data entry/clerical experience in a warehouse environment.
• Administrative support with basic math and computer data entry skills.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and Hours of Service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispatching drivers and notify customers about route changes.
• Answer incoming calls from customers, drivers, and internal departments.
• Maintain DOT files and other reports (vehicle inspections, fuel, mileage).
• Input data into computer system and generate reports as needed.
• Monitor documentation for renewals (drivers licenses, medical cards).
• Coordinate aspects of the hiring process (pre-employment testing and paperwork).
• Assist with processing driver payroll.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
