Job summary

Goldwater Care seeks a Transportation Driver to move patients between hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers, and homes in a safe, professional manner.

The role requires navigating with GPS and maintaining clear communication with facilities to coordinate schedules and directions. You will perform daily vehicle inspections, keep logs, and assist patients with transfers as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active Illinois Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients and clients using the company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
• Assist patients and clients as needed to ensure safe transfer
• Effectively communicate with facilities regarding schedule progress and instructions
• Operate GPS, two-way radio and/or cell phone to navigate
• Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep vehicle clean
• Maintain accurate activity and vehicle report logs
• Other duties as assigned

• Understand how to operate GPS, Two-Way Radio and/or Cell Phone to navigate effectively
• Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Maintain accurate activity and vehicle report logs
• Other duties as assigned
