Job summary

Goldwater Care in Bloomington, IL seeks a Transportation Driver to safely transport patients to hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences. You will perform routine vehicle inspections, assist patients, communicate with facilities, use GPS and radios, and keep accurate logs.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients and clients using the company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
• Assist patients and clients as needed to ensure safe transfer
• Effective communicate with facility regarding schedule progress and to receive additional instructions
• Understand how to operate GPS, Two-Way Radio and/or Cell Phone to navigate effectively
• Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Maintain accurate activity and vehicle report logs
• Other duties as assigned
